Aerial Tree Pruning – Unit 302 (Refresher)

Course Description:
You will be able to identify the correct PPE appropriate for the work. The course covers risk assessment, emergency planning, Health & Safety legalisation along with industry good practice., tree condition and working at height assessment, pruning techniques, tools and aerial pruning.

Pre-requisites:
Requires Units 201 Crosscutting timber, 202 felling trees up to 380mm, 203 Aerial use of a chainsaw from a rope and harness. Unit 204 Aerial use of a chainsaw from a rope and harness.
LOLER compliant climbing equipment with documented evidence, for training course and the Assessor

2 days plus assessment
