Course Description :
The course covers Health & Safety, safeguarding the environment & waste management in ground based forestry & arboriculture. Use of a winch. Recognising tree species and hazardous trees. You will be able to understand relevant Health & Safety legalisation along with industry good practice. You will be able to identify the correct PPE appropriate for the work.
Pre-requisites:
Requires 201 cross cutting timber, 202 Felling trees up to 380mm, 203 tree climbing and aerial rescue, 204 Chainsaw from a rope and harness.
LOLER compliant climbing equipment with documented evidence, for training course and the Assessor
LOLER compliant rigging equipment.
Duration:
1 full day plus assessment
