Assisted Fell Operations
Course Objectives :
The course will provide the individual with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to use assisted felling safely and to industry standards in line with current legislation. The course covers risk assessment, emergency planning, legislation, industry best practice, safety considerations, equipment, felling techniques, methods and assisted felling.
Pre-requisites:
Units 201 chainsaw maintenance and cross cutting timber, Unit 202 Felling small trees
Duration:
3 full days plus assessment.
